How to Make Buffalo Sauce from Scratch?

Most traditional hot wings just use Hot Sauce as the sauce. We find that to be a little bland and a bit too spicy. Since our wings are seasoned as they are baked, they already have so much flavor to them.

To tame down the spiciness of the sauce, we mix in melted butter, garlic, and sugar with the Red Hot Sauce! The butter adds richness to the sauce while the sugar balances the flavors and then garlic gives it a special kick!

  • Prepare Buffalo Sauce- In a skillet, melt the butter with the sugar and garlic, stir in the Hot Sauce. Set sauce aside until needed.

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Wings-

  1. Prepare one recipe of our Classic Baked Wings.
  2. Meanwhile, make the sauce per instructions above.
  3. Once wings are baked. Completely cover the wings in the homemade buffalo sauce.
  4. ENJOY, friends!

CHEF’S TIP- Once the wings are coated in the sauce, I like to return the wings to the oven for a few more minutes. The sauce penetrates into the wings and tastes so much better. However, you DON’T have to do this step.
