Ok so sometimes recipes are good and I get excited to share them with you. Then there are times when the recipe is SOOO good I CANNOT wait to share them! The recipe is so quick but is such a perfect appetizer for parties or brunches (and of course just for you, just because… cause you’re awesome). Chicken with spinach, artichoke in crescent rolls with loads of cheese, like hello recipe.

These crescent puffs are splendid appetizers for parties or get-togethers, and very simple to make! Your guests will love them.

It was so hard to capture these so they don’t look as tempting but let me tell you. You will LOVE these. Even if you are not really an artichoke or spinach fan. The inspiration for this recipe came from the awesome Chicken and Broccoli Puffs and Artichoke Spinach Mushroom Canapes. If you haven’t tried these, you are are MISSING out!..

Ingredients for Chicken Spinach Artichoke Crescent Puffs:

1 (5oz) can chicken breast

1 ¼ cups spinach, lightly packed

½ cup canned artichoke hearts, chopped

4 oz cream cheese, room temp

3 Tbsp mayonnaise

2 Tbsp crumbled feta cheese

1/3 cup shredded mozzarella

Dash salt, pepper

2 Tbsp butter, melted

3 Tbsp Italian seasoned bread crumbs

2 (8oz each) tubes crescent rolls

Makes: 16 puffs

How to make Chicken Spinach Artichoke Crescent Puffs:

Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.

Drain chicken and break into small pieces. Chop spinach. Chop artichoke into small pieces.

In a medium bowl, combine chicken, spinach, artichoke, cream cheese, mayo, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese and dash of salt and pepper.

Open crescent tube and separate triangles. Add some of the chicken mixture to the wide end of the triangle. Take the opposite end and fold it over. Then fold the rest of the crescent and pinch together to form a ball. (Be sure to pinch together really well, or else some of the cheesy chicken mixture may ooze out.)

Brush tops of crescent puffs with melted butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Repeat with all of the triangles and mixture.

Bake in preheated oven 10-12 minutes. Tops of crescents should very nice and golden. (Don’t open oven door early, crescents will flatter and won’t be flakey.)

    I followed the recipe but had about 1/3 of the chicken mixture left at the end. Do you use a jumbo rolls for this recipe? Or I did something wrong? Also, what do you think about using a chicken mixture for an open sandwiches? Thank you

      Hhhhmm Jessica. I am not sure what happened:(. Did you use up both tubes and get 16 crescents puffs?
      I actually thought the exact same idea, added a few ingredients and they came out SOOO delicious as open faced sandwiches!. You will love them, check back next week:)..

    This recipe came just in time when I had to use up packs of croissant rolls in my fridge that were left over from another recipe. It’s a perfect party pleaser & great leftover to eat when you’re on the go!
