  • GRAIN– You can use either rice or noodles. We love serving the chicken over a bed of oven-baked white rice. You can also serve it over lo mein noodles or linguine pasta.
  • VEGGIES– I love adding steamed broccoli to our chicken teriyaki bowls. But you can use any other veggie preference. Whenever I have leftover roasted vegetables, I’ll add those.

Ingredients

Chicken teriyaki-

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken, thighs or breast
  • 1 Tbsp oil

Teriyaki sauce-

  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into small bite-sized cubes.
