Marinated Mushrooms Salad-

If you are a mushroom fan, this salad is for you – it’s so good.! The combination of marinated juicy mushrooms with peppers and onions in a tangy Italian dressing is amazing.

The mushroom salad is easy to prepare and can be made up to two days in advance, allowing the dressing to penetrate into the ingredients. This salad is great for parties and potlucks as it doesn’t have any ingredients that get sorry. Serve the salad with grilled chicken kabobs, the easiest pork chops, or chicken in a skillet.

Where Can I Purchase Marinated Mushrooms?

Most stores carry canned marinated mushrooms; just about any canned mushrooms will work (even sliced mushrooms canned in water).

We purchased the mushrooms in this recipe at BJ’s Wholesale, and they have them on Amazon.

How to prepare mushrooms for this marinated mushroom salad.

How to Make Marinated Mushroom Salad-

Mushrooms – drain the marinated mushrooms and rinse thoroughly. Cover mushrooms with cold water.

Peppers – The peppers may be either cubed into large pieces, julienned into long thin strands, or finely cubed, whatever your personal preference is.

Pro Tip: I note that we need 1 pepper for this recipe. I like to combine different peppers that I have on hand. You can use red pepper or a combination of red, orange, yellow, or green peppers.)

Combine: Drain mushrooms and pat dry. Add the mushrooms, peppers, and dressing into a large bowl. Mix well. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, mix the salad well.

How to Store Mushroom Salad?

This salad is best stored in the refrigerated in an airtight container. It will stay fresh for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
