A current favorite song of mine.. Regardless where we are in our journey, He wants us to come as we are. So powerful..
Deuteronomy 4:9 “Take heed and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children.”
Psalm 105: 1
Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Deuteronomy Chapter 8
Israel was told to never forget what God had done for them.
We see in the Old Testament God instructing His chosen people, Israel, to remember where they were and how He had rescued them. He doesn’t stop there though; he instructs them to tell their children of what God has done.
Reading these verses and just reminiscing about all the stories of mercy and blessings my parents shared, I had this beautiful idea that could have only come from God. I would like to do a section on my blog remembering the mercies God had shown my family, myself and YOU! Let His name be praised amongst the nations!. Remembering and passing on His mercies from generation to generation.
Here’s how it will work. I will be posting a post on the different ways God has come through for His people. I invite you to be a part of this. Share your story!.
Sharing testimonies of how God came through when-
.. the doctors told the mother she would never conceive, yet we serve a God who has the final word and opens up the womb,
.. our parent’s packed their belonging into a few suitcases, leaving everything behind known to them as home in Ukraine, and immigrating to America with God as their guide into the unknown,
.. when losing a child is so painful and difficult, yet God knows how to heal the wounds,
.. when the marriage was falling apart and divorce papers were signed, they fasted/prayed for God to intervene and He came through. Not only saving the marriage but giving the couple love like they’ve never experienced,
.. when Satan wanted to destroy the young man’s life and family with drugs but God not only cleansed his body, but His soul and is using his life as a testimony for His glory,
.. when addiction was like a bad drug, sucking the young girl into a world of slavery but God brought people into her life that took her to the Cross where addictions may be cleansed and worked through,
.. when prostitution was all she had known her whole life, yet God sends a missionary to tell her about freedom and a new beginning she can have in Christ. She joins the body of Christ and has been able to open up a haven for other women struggling with this,
.. when raising five children is so frightening. Unsure how to discipline them and instill the Word of God in them. We come to God’s throne in search of wisdom and strength and He empowers us to press forward promising us that our children are as dear to Him as they are to us,
.. when it’s hard to be a Godly woman of God, a Godly wife. Yet, I don’t have to fully be perfect for He alone is perfection. He helps to shape me into the woman after His heart,
from the Bible..
.. when Sarah couldn’t have children and laughed when she was told she would conceive, but she gave birth at 90,
.. when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace to their deaths, but God had a different plan for their faithfulness,
.. when one stands like Daniel in the lion’s den in a world eagerly waiting to devour, yet the Lord gives strength and wisdom to stand with Him by our side,
.. when a young handsome shepherd boy is chosen among the wise and noble to be a King to reign over Israel. As we look at the outward appearance, God looks at the heart,
Hearing stories like these not only brings glory to God, but strengthens our faith in Him. Testimonies of his faithfulness deepens out roots in Him that can withstand the storms that hit our foundation and try to shift them.

I cannot wait to share with stories of when God’s hand was so evident in our lives. Our youngest daughter is a miracle baby, she wasn’t supposed to be alive. First up though, next week, I will begin with one of my biggest testimonies. A testimony about how the Holy Spirit took on a lady that had something to do with witchcraft in our home. It’s a testimony that gives me goosebumps to this day!
