Transformed Talk – Bible Study (Part 2)

(This is an older post I am bumping to the top because it’s so powerful. Read Part 1 first.)

Is this is your first Bible study? If so – Welcome! I know many of you have no idea what to expect. I was there.

IN-DEPTH BIBLE STUDY ON TAMING THE TONGUE:

I started doing Bible studies many years ago at a local church. They have a phenomenal women’s ministry there. I was as nervous as could be when I went to my meeting. It was a book study about the kind of Worship God desires. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Whether the study is a book study, or a short topical study, or a Book of the Bible study, I just love getting deep into God’s word and discovering what He wants to teach me and seeing where He wants me to grow and mature. Being obedient to the Holy Spirit’s nudging and applying what I’ve learned to my life, so I can become more and more like Jesus and reflect him in me.

One of the hardest things for me is actually applying what I learned to my everyday life. Change can be hard, scary and a lot of work. At times, you have to get out of your comfort zone and that can be really unsettling.

As you’ve read in the first part of this post, Transformed Talk, I share how God has been working on me lately but I am still a work in progress!

In this post, I’m sharing the Study you can print and go deeper on this topic.

If you will be doing this study as a group, send me an e-mail. I will share with you some tips and ideas on leading a women’s Bible study group and doing this together.

If you are doing this study by yourself, you go! Enjoy the study and remember, you are not alone! God so desperately wants to meet you and have fellowship with you. Take the time needed. Don’t try to complete the study in one sitting. It will NOT BE effective. You really have to chew on what you’ve learned. Pray about it, learn how to apply it to your life. Then move on to the next page.

Let’s get started-

I have this study as a pdf you can purchase as well and you don’t have to print each page out individually in our store, HERE.

Print out all of the pages below and staple them so it’s like a booklet or place into a 3-ring folder.

It will be in 3 step format, meaning you can take 3 weeks to do it. We need time to process everything and make sure it sinks deep.

1) Discussion over the impact our tongue/words have on our mind, spirit and body. (Shows our sinful state.)

2.) Learning through Scripture how to change our mindset and what we need to do to transform our talk. (Taking Scripture as an instruction guide.)

3). How to put into practice what we’ve learned! (Our dependency on the Holy Spirit.)

 Fondly,

Valentina
