Ham Mushroom Cheese Open-Faced Sandwich

Open-faced sandwich recipe (canapes) with ham, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese. These are great for parties or even a lazy dinner.

  • 1/2 lb ham, deli meat
  • 1/2 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
  • 12 oz mushrooms
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 cup mexican four cheese
  • 3 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • 3 Tbsp mayo
  • 2 oz cream cheese, room temp
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 french bread, sliced


  • Preheat oven to 355°F.
  • Clean and slice mushrooms. Add to large skillet with oil. Saute until golden brown, season with salt and pepper.
  • Chop ham and quarter tomatoes.
  • In a bowl combine Ranch, mayo, cream cheese, and lightly salt and pepper.
  • Slice French bread.
  • Spread the mixture onto bread slices.
  • Bake10-12 minutes, or until bread is crispy.
  • Serve and Enjoy!


If you only use half the mixture. Just refrigerate the rest and it can be used the following day.
