Chicken Lettuce Wraps Recipe
The most delicious Chicken Lettuce Wrap Recipe. Ground chicken smothered in a peanut soy sauce served as lettuce wraps. So easy and healthy, even your kids will approve.
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 tsp creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp chicken broth or water
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 head butter lettuce or romaine
- radishes, optional when serving
- cucumbers, optional when serving
In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, water, and soy sauce. Set aside. In a large skillet, add oil and heat over medium/high heat. Once hot, add the ground chicken. Cook until browned, breaking up the chicken as it's cooked.
Add the butter, garlic and ginger. Stir and cook an additional minute.
Pour the sauce in the chicken mixture, add the green onion. Cook an additional minute.
When serving, add chicken into lettuce and top with desired toppings.
