Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe
Homemade recipe for Balsamic Glaze. Balsamic vinegar reduction with a sweetener (honey or sugar) simmered until thickens and a glaze forms, good dressing.
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 Tbsp lightly packed brown sugar
In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine balsamic vinegar and brown sugar.
Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low, simmer until mixture is reduced by half and thickens (about 10-15 minutes, depending on the quality of vinegar).
Cool glaze completely before use. Keep leftovers refrigerated.
