In a bowl, add the sifted flour and create a well in the center. Add the warm water, salt, sugar, and yeast in the well. Let the yeast activate for about 5 minutes.
Mix the dough until fully combined and cover the dough and let rise for 2 hours.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and dust with flour. Shape the dough into an oval loaf and top with sifted flour. Let rise for an additional hour, then score the top of the bread with 3-4 lines.
Preheat oven to 425°F and add water to a pan and add to the bottom rack of the oven.
Add the bread loaf to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bread is crispy.
