Egg Frittata Recipe
The BEST recipe for how to make a classic egg frittata. Whisked eggs with hafl andd half and cheese as the base, then can add your favorite vegetables and meat to complete the frittata.
- 8 large eggs
- 3 Tbsp half and half
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper or to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (see note)
- 2 Tbsp chopped herbs
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half, salt, pepper, cheese, and herbs until combined.
Grease the skillet with butter or baking spray. Pour egg mixture into skillet. Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes.
Grease muffin pans and divide egg mixture equally. Bake 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
Cheese: You can use your favorite shredded cheese, Colby jack, mild cheddar, or mozzarella.
Herbs: Use your favorite herbs, or leave them out. Cilantro, parsley, green onion or dill would all work.
