Egg Frittata Recipe

The BEST recipe for how to make a classic egg frittata. Whisked eggs with hafl andd half and cheese as the base, then can add your favorite vegetables and meat to complete the frittata.

  • 8 large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp half and half
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper or to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (see note)
  • 2 Tbsp chopped herbs


  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half, salt, pepper, cheese, and herbs until combined.

Stovetop Method-

  • Grease the skillet with butter or baking spray. Pour egg mixture into skillet. Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes.

Oven Method-

Muffin Method-

  • Grease muffin pans and divide egg mixture equally. Bake 375°F for 12-15 minutes.


Cheese: You can use your favorite shredded cheese, Colby jack, mild cheddar, or mozzarella.
Herbs: Use your favorite herbs, or leave them out. Cilantro, parsley, green onion or dill would all work.
