Instant Pot Chicken Tacos (Shredded)

These Instant Pot Chicken Tacos make for the easiest tacos! With just 4 simple ingredients and 15 minutes you can have these tender and juicy shredded chicken ready for tacos.

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup salsa


Instant Pot Method-

  • Place the chicken, chicken broth, taco seasoning, and salsa into the instant pot.
  • Close the lid, seal and pressure cook for 10-12 minutes then pressure release.
  • Remove the chicken from the instant pot and shred with two forks. Place the chicken back into the juice and stir to combine.
  • Serve on tortillas with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Crockpot Method-

  • Add the chicken breast, chicken broth, taco seasoning, and the salsa into the slow cooker.
  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low heat for 6-7 hours.
  • Remove the chicken and shred with two forks. Place back into the slow cooker and mix to combine with the juice. Keep on warm while serving.
  • Serve in tortillas with desired toppings. Enjoy!
