Is this is your first Bible study? If so – Welcome! I know many of you have no idea what to expect. I was there. I hope you’re going to enjoy this TRANSFORMED TALK – BIBLE STUDY. It was so humbling to put on paper what God has been teaching me!
PERSONAL INVITE to join my closed group on Facebook:
Yes, I finally did it! I just created a closed group for all of us. A place to share recipes, prayers requests, Bible study ideas, parenting tips and so much more. Even talking about this study with all of you will be such a blessing!. Personally inviting you and extending an invite to your friends. I cannot wait to see where God leads us with the group. It’s been a long prayerful journey to finally start a page. Here’s the LINK!
IN-DEPTH BIBLE STUDY ON TAMING THE TONGUE:
I started doing Bible studies about 5 years ago at a local church. They have a phenomenal women’s ministry there. I was as nervous as could be when I went to my first study. It was a book study about the kind of Worship God desires. It was one of the best decision I’ve made. Whether the study is a book study, or a short topical study, or a Book of the Bible study (like I am currently studying, Roman’s, at BSF). I just love getting deep into God’s word and discovering what He wants to teach me. Seeing where He wants me to grow. Being obedient to the Holy Spirit’s nudging and applying what I’ve learned to my life.
One of the hardest things for me is actually applying what I learned to my everyday life. Change can be hard, scary and a lot of work on myself. At times, you have to get out of your comfort zone and that can be really unsettling.
As you’ve read in the first part of this post, Transformed Talk, I share what God has been working on me lately. I am still a work in progress!
If you will be doing this study as a group, send me an e-mail. I will share with you some tips and ideas on leading a women’s Bible study group and doing this together.
If you are doing this study by yourself, you go!! Enjoy the study and remember, you are not alone! God so desperately wants to meet you and have fellowship with you. Take the time needed. Don’t try to complete the study in one sitting. It WON’T be effective. You really have to chew on what you’ve learned. Pray about it, learn how to apply it to your life. Then move forward.
I’ve broken up the study into 3 parts, about 3 weeks of study. So take 1 week to do the Part 1. Take it slow, dip deep, find other Scriptures that you can apply and grow spiritually!
If any of you don’t have a printer and cannot print these printouts, e-mail me at email@example.com and I will mail you a copy (U.S. and Canada). 🙂
Print out all of the pages below and staple them so it’s like a booklet or place into a 3-ring folder.
I’d LOVE to hear feedback from you in the comments below or in our NEW FACEBOOK group! Hearing from you will help determine if I should create any more studies in the future. I only want to create and share what is a blessing to others. 🙂
