Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 6 as a side

Ingredients

  • 1 small cauliflower head cut into even florets (3 cups)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp hot sauce optional

Instructions

  • Add the cauliflower florets to a bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and toss to combine.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Season the cauliflower and toss again.
  • Air fry at 390°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. (Cook time will vary, depending on the size of florets.)
  • If you like heat, drizzle the cauliflower with hot sauce before serving, optional.
  • Serve and enjoy, friends.

Notes

  • Cut evenly: Slice the cauliflower into evenly sized florets so they cook at the same rate.
  • Prep properly: Wash and thoroughly dry the florets before seasoning to help them crisp up nicely.
  • Avoid overcrowding: Arrange the florets in a single layer, leaving space between them, to ensure they crisp rather than steam.
  • Use enough oil: Don’t skip it, as lightly coating the florets helps create that golden, crispy exterior.
  • Store leftovers: Keep any leftover cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat for crispiness: Reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness.
