Valentina Ablaev

Expertise: Developing recipes for over 20 years, food photography, and professionally developing. I travel on a regular basis accross the US and speak at conferences as a motivation speaker.
Education: Degree in residential planning and design and a self-taught home cook.
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Previously lived in Ohio.
About: I’m the owner and mastermind behind Valentina’s Corner and have been the recipe developer and food photographer since the beginning! My husband and I are co-owners and now we have a whole team that help us manage the site!
Cuisine: We started by documenting our favorite Ukrainian recipes but have been expanding our range of cuisines. We have fallen in love with recreating our favorite recipes from around the world: classic American recipes, Mexican favorites, Italian, Asian, and so much more! Some of our favorite recipes are our restaurant copcat recipes where we recreate takeout favorites for a fraction of the cost!
Cooking has always been a passion of mine and a way to bring people together! I truly believe that’s one of my love languages – feeding others! This blog has granted us the unique opportunity to bring our favorite recipes to your home. Inspiring others to cook has been one of the greatest pleasures of this blog, and I look forward to doing this for years to come!
Before I am a business owner, I am a mom and a wife. I have seven children, so you can imagine our busy day-to-day life! This has been the main inspiration behind Valentina’s Corner! I wanted to show busy moms that we can create homemade comfort meals while also balancing all the challenges of motherhood. So, many of our recipes are simplified versions of complicated recipes that don’t compromise flavor!
