GENERAL BLOG QUESTIONS

Who writes your recipes?

All of our recipes are written and tested personally by me, Valentina Ablaev.

Are recipes tested by others?

My husband (who is quite the critic) and our seven children test every single one of our recipes. We always share with neighbors and friends to get their personal feedback.

Can your content be used in a recipe roundup?

We would love to be featured in a roundup of recipes. We just ask that you use a link to our original post.

Why didn’t my recipe work?

We test our recipes multiple times to ensure they are accurate and delicious. If a recipe doesn’t work out, be sure to double-check that you followed all the directions and ingredients. Please review the recipes FAQ’s in the post to see if we’ve already answered any questions!
If you have, please comment on your issue, and we will respond as soon as possible.

Can I substitute any ingredients?

We can’t guarantee that a recipe will work if certain ingredients are substituted. If you have any specific questions, leave us a comment, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you work with brands and do sponsored posts?

Yes, we do. We constantly seek new ideas and products to share with you, our online family at ValentinasCorner.com. However, we will only partner with brands and share items we personally use and stand behind.
Lastly, we do not participate in product reviews.

RECIPE QUESTIONS

Am I able to print a recipe?

Absolutely! Each recipe card at the post’s bottom has a print button.

My recipe failed; what did I do wrong?

Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint why a particular didn’t work for you, as many factors can contribute to a failed recipe.
Here are some tips to ensure you have success with each recipe:
– First, read over the recipe and ingredients and be sure nothing wasn’t omitted.
– Ensure you haven’t made substitutions of any sort the first time you try a new recipe. You can always try to tweak the recipe to your personal preference once you’ve tried the original.
– Read the FAQ in the post. We recommend reading through the reader comments, as your answer will often be discussed there.
– Feel free to leave feedback on the post with questions, and we will promptly reply to your concern. Please be sure to comment under the appropriate recipe post.

Do you provide nutritional value for recipes?

Yes, each recipe card has nutritional information.
Please be aware that the calculations provided are estimates and may vary based on the cooking methods and brands of ingredients used.
Please note ValentinasCorner.com should not be considered a source for medical information.
You can use myfitnesspal.com, which is an excellent online resource for nutritional calculation, free of charge.
