Notes

  • Season generously: Season all sides of the chicken generously to ensure maximum flavor.
  • Add vegetables: Make your gravy extra hearty by adding diced onion, celery, and carrots to the crockpot.
  • Garnish: Top your final product with fresh herbs like dill and parsley. Not only do they make the dish beautiful but extra delicious.
  • Storage. Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat. Warm up the gravy on a warm pan. Allow the gravy to simmer on low-medium heat until reheated. If gravy becomes too thick, add water until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Freeze. Keep the gravy fresh for longer by freezing it! Add the cooled gravy to a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze. Store for up to 3 months. Reheat: Add the frozen gravy to a pan and warm until reheated.
