This grilled chicken sandwich recipe makes the perfect, healthy chicken sandwich at home! The chicken is marinated and grilled to a juicy finish, making it the ideal sandwich when topped with your favorite toppings.
To a bowl add all of the ingredients for the chicken marinade. Add the chicken into the marinade and store in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight.
When you are ready to cook, remove the chicken from the fridge and allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Heat the grill to 400°F and place the chicken on the grill.
Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on both sides or until cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the grill and rest for 5 minutes.
