Hibachi Fried Rice (Japanese Steakhouse)

Hibachi fried rice is a classic Japanese Steakhouse dish. Although it seems very fancy, it is super easy and significantly cheaper to recreate at home. Full of authentic flavors, our hibachi ginger sauce infuses this dish and leaves you craving it day after day.

Ingredients

  • ½ portion hibachi sauce
  • 2 cups long-grain white rice uncooked
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 green onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Cook rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, rinse under cold water and keep covered. If using day-old rice, you can skip this step.
  • Meanwhile, prepare one portion of our hibachi ginger sauce.
  • Add the butter to a skillet or wok. Once melted, add eggs and scramble breaking up the eggs as it’s scrambled.
  • Add the rice to a skillet with hibachi sauce and green onion.
  • Cook until the rice is reheated stirring as needed.
  • Serve and enjoy, friends!

Notes

Store: Keep leftovers in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
