Classic bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers are the ultimate game-day appetizer! Spicy jalapeños stuffed with a rich, creamy cheese filling and wrapped in crispy bacon come together for the perfect bite every time.
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the jalapenos lengthwise, then use a spoon to scoop out the inner membranes and seeds.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, a minced garlic clove, salt, pepper, and ranch. Once equally incorporated, mix in the chopped green onion and shredded cheese.
Generously fill every jalapeno with the mixture.
Take a strip of bacon, wrap it tightly around each pepper, and add the peppers to the baking sheet.
Repeat with all of the peppers.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
Notes
Fill the peppers evenly. Use a spoon to fill each pepper with an equal amount of the mixture-avoid overstuffing to prevent spills while baking.
Wrap securely. When wrapping the poppers with bacon, make sure each strip is snug around the pepper. If needed, use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place as it bakes.
Store leftovers. Keep any extra peppers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat the peppers in the air fryer until crispy and warm.
