  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3 cups almonds about 10 oz

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a large baking sheet with non-stick parchment paper.
  • Beat the melted butter, egg white, and vanilla in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
  • Add almonds to a large bowl, pour the egg and butter mixture over the almonds, and stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the almonds and stir to combine.
  • Add the almonds to the baking sheet and spread out.
  • Bake the almonds for 20 minutes, tossing them about halfway.
  • Remove the nuts from the oven. Allow the almonds to cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • Candied almonds on the stovetop:
Add all of the ingredients to a pan on medium heat and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Candied almonds in the crockpot -
To your slow cooker, add all of the ingredients and cook on high for about an hour.
  • Air fryer candied almonds:
Add the almonds coated in sugar to the air fryer basket and bake at 350°F for about 8 minutes, or until the nuts are golden-brown.
  • Storage. Store these nuts in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature. We recommend storing them in a cool dark place to avoid them getting soggy or stale.
  • Freeze. We don’t recommend freezing these candied almonds as it would make them soggy.
