- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 Tbsp ranch powder
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 8 oz bacon chopped and cooked
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
Place the chicken breasts, cream cheese, minced garlic, ranch seasoning, butter, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper into the crockpot.
Cover with the lid and cook on high for 3–4 hours or on low for 6–7 hours.
Once cooked, take out the chicken and shred it using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot along with the cooked bacon and shredded cheese. Stir everything together and cook until the cheese is melted.
Serve, and enjoy friends!
- Chicken doneness: Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through. When the internal temperature reaches 165°F, you know it's ready to be shredded.
- Serve chicken: Serve crack chicken as a sandwich, a dip, or even over pasta for the perfect comfort meal.
- Make-ahead option: To prep this dish in advance, add all of the ingredients to the crockpot and refrigerate. Start the crockpot the morning you want to serve the dish!
