This homemade peach tea recipe makes the perfect summer drink. A refreshing peach black tea that takes little to no effort, and the result is an addictive iced drink.
Take the pits out of the peaches and mash them until you get a smooth puree.
To a large pot, add water, and bring to a boil.
Remove from the heat and add tea bags, honey, and mashed peaches. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
Strain the tea into a pitcher through a strainer or a sieve.
Serve over ice, and enjoy!
Notes
To get the best flavor in this tea, use ripe peaches that are slightly soft. They’ll be easier to mash and have a better flavor.
Sub out honey for regular cane sugar or use your favorite sugar-free sweetener.
Level up your tea by mixing it with lemonade or sparkling soda!
To make this drink in advance, prepare it as usual and store it in the fridge until ready. This drink will be fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
