Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 1 pitcher

Ingredients

  • 1 lb peaches
  • 8 cups water
  • 4 lipton black tea bags
  • 1/3 cup honey

Instructions

  • Take the pits out of the peaches and mash them until you get a smooth puree.
  • To a large pot, add water, and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from the heat and add tea bags, honey, and mashed peaches. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
  • Strain the tea into a pitcher through a strainer or a sieve.
  • Serve over ice, and enjoy!

Notes

  • To get the best flavor in this tea, use ripe peaches that are slightly soft. They’ll be easier to mash and have a better flavor.
  • Sub out honey for regular cane sugar or use your favorite sugar-free sweetener.
  • Level up your tea by mixing it with lemonade or sparkling soda!
  • To make this drink in advance, prepare it as usual and store it in the fridge until ready. This drink will be fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
