Italian Sub Sandwich

This italian sandwich recipe is one of our favorite easy sub sandwich recipes. A soft hoagie roll is layered with a variety of deli meats, fresh vegetables, and spicy pepperonicini.

Ingredients

  • 2 large sub rolls
  • 2 Tbsp mayo
  • 1/4 lb ham
  • 1/4 lb Genoa salami
  • 1/4 lb capicollo
  • 1/4 lb provolone cheese
  • sliced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • pepperoncini
  • 1 recipe of Italian dressing

Instructions

  • Lightly toast the hoagie rolls on a pan or a toaster.
  • Spread a thin layer of mayo on each side.
  • Add layers of ham, salami, capicollo, provolone, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and slices of pepperoncini.
  • Drizzle the top of the sandwich with italian dressing and close the sandwich.
  • Serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Serve this italian sandwich with a side salad, soup, or homemade fries!
  • Store the leftover sandwich wrapped in parchment paper in the fridge for 1-2 days.
