how to make a hot latte -

  • To a saucepan, add pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar. Heat on low until the mixture is warmed.
  • Slowly whisk in the milk and the vanilla.
  • Bring the milk to a light simmer and remove from heat.
  • Add in the coffee and pour into coffee mugs.
  • Serve with whipped cream on top and enjoy!

how to make an iced latte -

  • To your mug, add shots of espresso (1-2 per cup, depending on your strength preference).
  • To the mug, add pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and vanilla. Mix until the pumpkin purée is dissolved. It’s important that the shots are hot so that the puree dissolves.
  • Pour in the milk and top with ice.

Notes

  • Get the perfect serving size: This recipe makes 2 lattes, so you can scale the portions up or down to make the perfect amount of lattes! 
  • Don’t scald the milk! Make sure not to let the milk get to a rolling boil, or else it will burn, and the taste won’t be good. 
  • Decorate your drink! We love to finish our latte with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a dash of cinnamon.
