Chicken Mushroom Canapes

Baguette bread slices topped with a chicken, mushroom and cheese mixture then baked until crispy.

  • 10 oz canned chicken breast
  • 12 oz mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 1/3 cups shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 Tbsp dill
  • 1 baguette loaf, sliced


  • Chop mushrooms and sautee over high heat with 2 tsp oil until golden, lightly salt and pepper. Set aside to cool.
  • Combine the drained chicken, mushrooms, mayo, cheese and dill in a bowl.
  • Slice the baguette into about 22- 24 pieces. Top baguette slices with the chicken mixture and add to the baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven to 350° for 12-15 minutes. 


Everything can be prepared the night before and stored covered in refrigerator. Just mix before baking.
