Peach Filling:

  • lbs fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp whole milk (or half and half)

Cobbler Crumble:

  • Melt butter and set aside to cool.
  • Peel and slice peaches into even slices. Toss the peach slices with the 1/4 sugar.
  • Add peaches to a 9"x13" casserole dish, pour the 3 Tbsp milk over the peaches.
  • In a bowl, combine together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.
  • Pour the butter into the dry ingredients. Softly mix until it becomes a crumble.
  • Distribute the crumble topping evenly over the peaches.
  • Bake for 375°F for 35-45 minutes until bubbly and the crumble topping crispy.
  • Serve cobbler warm with vanilla ice cream.

TIP: Peaches are easiest to peel with a vegetable peeler
Be sure to use peaches that aren't too hard or mushy soft and slice the peaches into thin same-sized slices for even cooking.
