This waffle cake is the perfect no-bake dessert—easy to make and delicious! Delicious pre-made wafer layers are topped with dulce de leche cream, and the many layers create the perfect texture.
In a mixing bowl, combine dulce de leche and butter and beat on high speed for about 3 minutes.
Take each wafer and generously spread cream; be sure to get the sides. Keep stacking until you have 3 layers.
Repeat with the next 3 layers.
Cover the wafers in plastic wrap, place a cutting board over the wafer layers, and place something heavy over the top for at least an hour.
Cut the cake into desired shapes and serve.
Notes
Storage. Wrap the waffle cake tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to a week.
Freeze. Store the waffle cakes in the freezer to enjoy them for longer. Keep the waffle cake in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 3 months. To serve, thaw the waffle cake in the fridge and enjoy.
