Step by step picture on how to make an omelette.

How to make an omelette-

  • Cook bacon pieces.
  • Chop spinach and slice the tomatoes.
  • Whisk egg mixture and add to a pan.
  • Cook omelette, add remaining ingredients.
  • Enjoy!

TIP: For the perfect finished egg, once you add the ingredients to the omelette, place the pan into the oven for 1-2 minutes on broil until tops of eggs finish cooking.

You can skip this step and close the lid of the pan once you add ingredients and turn the heat to low, allowing the eggs to finish cooking. Then just fold over the omelette.

Once you fry the mushrooms just add the chopped ham to the mushrooms and let them get warm and onto the omelet they go:) It’s nice to have the ham warm/hot:)

Our eggs for breakfast are boring, we just scramble them so this sounds yummy and simple. I have most of the ingredients in the fridge. I have to try the oven method :).

    • admin 02/10/2015, 11:28 am

I think you will love the oven method:).

  • Katya 02/06/2015, 4:42 pm

Pure G.E.N.I.U.S. for sure. I’m wondering can I do this if I don’t fold the omelet and leave it open?

    • admin 02/07/2015, 12:24 pm

      Katya,
Definitely. Say you are doing mushrooms, ham, tomatoes and cheese. Whip the eggs, add the rest of the ingredients mix everything. Let it cook on the stove top for a few minutes or until bottom is cooked and in the oven it goes!. 🙂 No need to flip=).
