We love to recreate our favorite beverages at home! This all started when we fell in love with Olive Garden’s peach lemonade and knew we had to recreate it for ourselves; the rest is history! We’ve mastered everything from a classic mojito mocktail to this simple fruit-infused raspberry lemonade!

Before You Start:

  • Make in advance. One of the key components of this lemonade is a homemade simple syrup, and after being heated, it needs time to cool completely. To avoid worrying about timing, make the syrup in advance and store it in the fridge before use.
  • Use fresh ingredients. Freshly squeezed lemon juice will provide a far superior flavor to bottled lemon juice.
  • Have the right tools. To make the puree, you will need a blender, whether it is a smoothie blender or a handheld immersion blender. It is the key to getting the perfect puree.

Raspberry Lemonade Ingredient Tips

Though a raspberry lemonade doesn’t really require much work, here are some pro tips to make sure you have success every time.

  • Simple syrup water – We make a sweetened water as the base of this lemonade, similar to simple syrup, but more diluted.
  • Raspberry puree – A blend of fresh raspberries and sugar to make a sweet and tart puree. This homemade raspberry puree will far surpass artificial syrup.
  • Lemon juice – This recipe requires 1 ½ cups of lemon juice, equivalent to approximately 7-8 lemons. However, keep in mind that some lemons will produce less or more, so it is better to have a few extra lemons, just in case.

See the recipe card below for a complete list of ingredients and quantities.

Lemonade Variations

I love the base of a lemonade and then building on it with so many add-ins and twists.

  • Low-sugar: If you’re trying to avoid sugar, you can still enjoy this lemonade! Sub out cane sugar for your favorite sugar substitute.
  • Sparkling lemonade: Make this lemonade fizzy with the addition of club soda, just like our sparkling strawberry lemonade.
  • Herby lemonade: Infuse the lemonade with fresh herbs for a tasty flavor variation! Some delicious options are a sprig of fresh mint, rosemary, and even basil! You can even use them to elevate your presentation!
  • Swap out the fruit – Swap raspberries for blackberries or blueberries.

How to Make Raspberry Lemonade with Real Fruit

  • Simple syrup. Add water and sugar to a saucepan. Heat on a light simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before using.
  • Raspberry puree. Blend raspberries, water, and sugar to create the raspberry puree. Strain the pulp through a sieve to obtain raspberry syrup.
  • Combine. To a pitcher, add sugar water, lemon juice, and raspberry puree.

Summer Treat

Turn this raspberry lemonade into a frozen summer dessert! Pour the mixture into popsicle molds to create your very own, homemade raspberry lemonade popsicles.

Store and Make-Ahead:

  • Store leftovers: The best way to store leftover lemonade is to avoid adding ice directly to the pitcher and instead add it to the individual cups. This way, your lemonade doesn’t get watered down and can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
