Frozen French fries made in the air fryer turn out so crispy, just like you’d order at your favorite restaurant. The best part about this recipe is you just use frozen fries and don’t have to cut the fries or wait for them to fry.
INGREDIENTS-
Grab yourself a bag of frozen french fries and you can have this recipe ready!
- French fries– Any style of frozen fries will work great for this recipe! You can use straight-cut fries, curly fries, waffles fries, or even sweet potato fries.
- Seasoning– For seasoning, we just used salt and pepper but you can add your favorite seasoning to the fries.
- Olive oil– Olive oil keeps the fries from drying out and evenly cooking.

HOW TO MAKE FRENCH FRIES IN AIR FRYER-
With just under 30 minutes of time, you can have these crispy homemade air fryer french fries ready to be enjoyed!
- Add the crispy french fries into the air fryer and cook at 400°F, until the fries are tender and crispy. Toss the fries halfway through cooking and season.
Cook Time for Different Types of Fries-
To ensure crispness and even cooking does NOT overcrowd your air fryer. Here are the different cooking times for the different cuts of fries:
- Regular Fries: 14-16 minutes
- Waffle Fries: 10-12 minutes
- Sweet Potato Fries: 14-16 minutes
- Thin Cut Fries: 8-10 minutes
- Curly Fries: 11-13 minutes
- Crinkle-Cut Fries: 13-15 minutes

The best way to enjoy fries is definitely with a good dipping sauce, here are some of our favorite sauces:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS-
If you don’t have an air fryer you can just bake the fries at 400°F for about 18-20 minutes, or until crispy and tender.
You do not need to, but if you want you can preheat the air fryer.
To reheat the fries, just add them to the air fryer again or reheat them in the oven.
If you want you can spray the air fryer basket with baking spray to avoid the fries from sticking to the basket.
We do not recommend freezing the cooked fries.

Ingredients
- 16 oz frozen french fries regular cut
- 1 tsp olive oil, optional
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
