How to Make Asian Chicken Wings in Oven:
Step-by-step instructions on making the best wings:
1 – Prep wings– Combine all of the ingredients for the seasoning. Pat chicken dry and completely coat in the seasoning.
2 – Bake wings– Line a baking sheet with foil, add a rack, and lay the wings. Bake until crispy and cooked through, flipping the wings halfway.
3 – Prepare sauce– Prepare the Asian sauce by mixing together sauce ingredients. Toss the chicken in the sauce in a large bowl! TIP: Once the chicken wings are coated in the sauce, cook an additional 3-5 minutes for added crispiness. This makes the sauce like a sticky glaze.
| To get the most crispy wings, make sure to pat the chicken wings dry before baking them. You can do this using a paper towel to make sure there is no remaining moisture. |
Serving Suggestions:
- Dipping sauce: Serve the wings with homemade ranch dressing accompanied by fresh carrot sticks and celery.
- With a side: Oven-baked french fries make the perfect side to homemade wings.

- Storage: Store leftover wings in the fridge in an airtight container. Leftovers can be kept for up to 3 days.
- Reheat: Wings can be reheated in the air fryer or the oven. Freeze: Freeze cooked wings without the sauce for the best results. Place cooked wings in a freezer-safe container and store for up to 3 months. Reheat: Thaw wings in the fridge overnight, or place frozen wings directly in the oven.
