I love how hearty and delicious this club sandwich is! The toasted bread layered with turkey, ham, cheese, and toppings comes together so well. 

What is a club sandwich? A club sandwich is a sandwich of turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, mayo, cheese in between 3 bread slices.

What is the difference between a BLT and a club sandwich? Both sandwiches are very similar. The only difference is the club has more meat while the BLT only uses bacon.

WHAT YOU NEED-

These are the basic ingredients that you need for a classic club sandwich. You can add or remove any ingredients that you do not like.

  • BREAD– For this recipe you want to use any classic sliced sandwich bread. We like Italian bread but you can also use sourdough, whole wheat beard or any other bread.
  • MEAT– This recipe calls for turkey breast and ham but you can use any other deli meat that you like. The turkey meat may be substituted for chicken with great results.
  • BACON– Use our air fryer method to get perfectly cooked bacon for this sandwich.
  • CHEESE– Any type of sliced cheese will do for this recipe. We like to use sliced American cheese, Colby jack cheese, Monterey jack cheese, or swiss cheese for the club.
  • TOMATO– Sliced tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • LETTUCE– You can use either lettuce pieces or shredded lettuce for this club.
  • MAYO– Classic mayo can be used for this recipe. If you like a kick to your sandwiches, use our spicy mayo.

Change up your club sandwich by adding different types of meat. You can also add sliced avocado to your sub for added flavor.

HOW TO MAKE CLUB SANDWICH-

Making this hearty turkey club sandwich cannot get easier than this recipe. Enjoy this delicious sandwich in under 10 minutes.

  1. Toast the bread slices, slice the tomatoes, and shred the lettuce.
  2. Arrange the three bread slices on a platter and generously spread one side of all three bread slices with mayo.
  3. Top the first slice of the bread with the turkey, tomatoes, and cheese and close with the second slice of bread with mayo side downward.
  4. Spread mayo on the second bread slice and add ham, bacon, and lettuce and close with the last slice of bread, mayo side down.
  5. Repeat with one more sandwich and secure the clubs with toothpicks and cut into 4 pieces.
