Ingredients for Turkey Sandwich

  • Sandwich spread – A mix of mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and seasoning creates a unique and delicious dressing.
  • Bread – Sourdough bread is the key to an unforgettable sandwich. Whether it’s homemade sourdough or store-bought, you won’t regret it!
  • Avocado  – Mashed avocado on toast takes any sandwich to the next level.
  • Cheese – Your favorite sliced cheese works perfectly in this sandwich.
  • Meats – We love a combination of sliced turkey and cooked bacon.
  • Veggies – We top this sandwich with heirloom tomato slices and lettuce to make a turkey BLT-style sandwich!

Substitutions and Variations

Here’s how you can switch up the flavors of this sandwich to keep it fun and flavorful:

  • Spicy sauce: We love to use spicy mayo in our sandwiches to add a fun kick of Sriracha!
  • Grilled cheese: Rather than toasting the bread slices, you can toast the assembled sandwich to make a gourmet grilled cheese

Valentina’s Pro Tip

I think we’ve all had a time when slicing a tall sandwich, and it falls apart and turns into a mess. To avoid that, tightly wrap the sandwich in parchment paper and cut through the paper. This will keep all the toppings in place.

Serve a Turkey Sandwich

  • Salad: A salad and sandwich are a classic combo, and we love a creamy caesar salad with this sandwich.
  • Soup: Enjoy this sandwich with a hearty vegetable soup for a comforting combination.
  • Fries: For a restaurant-level combination, pair a turkey avocado sandwich with fresh parmesan fries

Store the Sandwich
