This year was full of exciting food trends, and as 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a look back at some of your all-time favorite recipes.

This year, we strived to bring new recipes from our kitchen to yours, and several quickly became fan favorites. At the same time, a few classic staples still held their spot at the top. Some picks surprised us, while others were exactly what we expected!

It’s no shock that simple meals continue to be crowd-pleasers, just like in our 2024 round-up. From quick 30-minute dinners to easy crockpot recipes, these dishes always top the list. This year, we noticed an uprise in comfort meals! Nothing beats a bowl of pasta or a creamy soup, both of which dominated this list!

1. Sautéed Garlic Butter Shrimp

Garlic butter sautéed shrimp cooks in less than 15 minutes and packs flavor in every bite! This shrimp makes the perfect entree to serve with white rice or in addition to your favorite pasta!

2. Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

The reigning champ has yet to fall off the number-one spot for years!! Yes, the crockpot chicken Alfredo remains a fan favorite not just in our house but also in a lot of yours! It’s easy, delicious, and cheap! I mean, what more do you need?

3. Easy Potato Soup

This classic potato soup is a one pot dish that also never falls off the list! This recipe makes comfort in a bowl with all the flavors and that rich and creamy broth.

4. Crack Chicken

Another comfort meal that is a favorite in our kitchen, and yours. This crack chicken recipe is loaded with the best sauce and a variety of incredible toppings.

5. Chicken Lo Mein

When it comes to lo mein, we take our recipe very seriously, and when I say it’s better than takeout, I mean it! This chicken lo mein has the best homemade sauce and it’s not surprise that it made the list!

6. Bang Bang Shrimp

Crispy and creamy bang bang shrimp is one of our all time favorites! This shrimp is great on it’s own, but you can also make them as bang bang shrimp tacos!

7. Chicken Marsala

This Olive Garden copycat recipe makes the perfect at home restaurant meal. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and that marsala mushroom sauce is to die for!

8. Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Speaking of Olive Garden copycat recipes, this creamy alfredo sauce is an all time favorite recipe! We use this for everything from chicken alfredo to an alfredo flatbread pizza, and even as a dip for breadsticks!

9. Shrimp Tacos

These shrimp tacos stay a fan favorite both in your home and ours! My favorite part is that everyone can choose their own toppings, which appeals to the picky eaters!

10. Chicken and Gnocchi Soup

You guys loved this homemade chicken and gnocchi soup recipe! We love that it comes together in just one pot, and it’s so much better than the restaurant!

11. Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

If my kids could pick a favorite recipe to add to the list, it would be this one! This chocolate chip banana bread is one of the best dessert recipes out there! I’m not joking you guys, this banana bread is out of this world! If you haven’t tried it yet, you need to!

12. Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

This shrimp alfredo has stayed in our top 20 for the last few years because it’s just that good! It’s so fun to know you guys love it as much as we do!

13. Chicken Teriyaki Recipe

Back to recipes that are better than takeout, this chicken teriyaki recipe is one we are so proud of! This meal is ready in just 30 minutes which is great for busy weeknights!

14. Kani Salad Recipe

A crab and cucumber salad in a spicy mayo sauce. Is there any more I need to say?

15. Baked Boneless Chicken Thighs

An unbeatable chicken thigh recipe! This one is one we keep coming back to any time we’re hosting and need an entree that takes little to no effort and will feed a crowd!

16. Jalapeno Poppers

The perfect appetizer for any occasion! These jalapeno poppers make the perfect snack that you can bring to game night or a dinner! Seriously, if you haven’t tried these yet, then you are missing out!

17. Banana Pancakes

This year we’ve added a variety of new pancake recipes to the site, but these banana pancakes stay a tried and true favorite! Fluffy and loaded with an incredible banana flavor, these make the perfect breakfast.

18. Chicken Scampi

We just keep it coming with the Olive Garden recipes! This chicken scampi is an incredible dish to make to wow a crowd!
