This year was jam-packed with the best food trends, and as 2024 ends, we are looking back at some of your favorite recipes!

We worked hard to give you new recipes every month, and some became instant hits. However, some oldies remain on the top of the list! Needless to say, some took us by surprise, and others not so much…

Favorite Recipes:

It’s not surprising that quick meals are consistent winners even in our 2023 recipes roundup. Everything from 30-minute dinner recipes to easy dishes you can make in the crockpot is always going to be a fan favorite. However, this year, we saw a surprising rise in appetizer recipes! Finger foods are some of our favorite recipes, and some of our new appetizer recipes have become your favorites too!

1. Crockpot Chicken Alfredo

The reigning champ has yet to fall off the number-one spot for years!! Yes, the crockpot chicken Alfredo remains a fan favorite not just in our house but also in a lot of yours! It’s easy, delicious, and cheap! I mean, what more do you need?

2. Sautéed Garlic Butter Shrimp

Another classic that we love, this sauteed shrimp cooks in less than 15 minutes and is infused with the best flavor! The shrimp cooks in a buttery garlic sauce, making the best protein! Add it to your alfredo pasta or an easy shrimp bowl!

3. Napoleon Cake with Dulce de Leche

This Napoleon cake is the perfect dessert that looks like you spent hours on it, but in reality, you barely had to lift a finger! The flakey layers are topped with a rich dulce de leche cream made from scratch.

This comfort meal is such a classic; it’s no surprise that it is a fan favorite year after year! A creamy and rich broth is loaded with tender vegetables, making for a great flavor while getting in your vitamins!

5. Shrimp Tacos with Slaw

It’s one of our favorite recipes of all time! This shrimp taco recipe makes the best dinner; you’d think you were at a fancy restaurant. The best part is that it’s so easy to make. If I could give one tip, I would say don’t skip the slaw or the cilantro lime sauce.

6. Banana Pancakes from Scratch

These banana pancakes are the perfect breakfast recipe and have been a consistent hit! We’ve gotten so many responses from moms saying that this is their toddlers’ favorite breakfast, and we don’t blame them!

7. Burrata Cheese with Roasted Tomatoes

This appetizer recipe is one of our favorite new recipes of 2024! It’s easy to make and is always a hit at any gathering! You only need a few ingredients and a little bit of time. If you haven’t tried it yet, then what are you doing?

8. Banana Foster Pancakes

If you’re a fan of elevated breakfasts, this is the recipe for you! Fluffy pancakes topped with a rich butter rum sauce and fresh banana slices. Seriously, this breakfast recipe is the perfect sweet treat and it’s so easy to make! It looks and tastes like it came from a fancy breakfast restaurant.

We love crab rangoons with our takeout, but this year, we discovered that they are so easy to make and taste even better! Especially when you can have more than 4 for $7! These rangoons use few ingredients and come together quickly!

10. Parmesan Truffle Fries

Homemade parmesan fries are better than any restaurant fries! They are so flavorful and make the perfect side to homemade smash burgers! These fries are simple to make and are elevated with homemade garlic aioli from scratch.

11. Mini Stuffed Peppers

These peppers are a mini variation of our stuffed bell pepper recipe! They are just as delicious as the original but come in the perfect small serving size. These are great for a crowd or even as a main course!

12. Easy Bread Loaf

This year was the year of sourdough, but if you’re not entirely on the hype train yet, this artisan bread is easily our favorite yeast bread recipe. This recipe uses simple ingredients and makes a perfectly fluffy loaf.

13. Creamy Tuscan Pasta

No surprise here because “marry me chicken” was a viral recipe, but the pasta version was even better! Creamy pasta in a rich tuscan sauce with juicy pieces of chicken. It doesn’t get much better.

14. Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe

Banana bread is the best easy dessert, and this chocolate chip banana bread is our favorite variation! A fluffy loaf made moist and delicious with loads of bananas and taken to the next level with many chocolate chips. This is the perfect banana bread recipe.

15. Crockpot  Potato Soup

This potato soup is an obvious winner! It’s made with a creamy and rich broth, loaded with tender potatoes, and so many delicious toppings. Extra cheese, sour cream, bacon, green onions, are just some of the ways that we take each bowl of this potato soup to the next level.

16. Kani Salad Recipe

This easy salad recipe is a unique and delicious asian recipe. Kani salad consists of just a few ingredients and it’s slightly spicy, making for a great medley of flavors. It’s easy to make and will impress anyone you serve it to.
